What this project involved
Semi-D roofs in Johor Bahru are rarely a single clean plane. This installation spread PV across multiple roof facets — packing arrays where orientation and access allowed, while leaving clear working space around vertical water tanks, a horizontal solar thermal heater and roof vents.
Alongside the larger multi-array Semi-D, related neighbourhood installs show neat eight-panel banks on modern grey-tiled roofs — the same electrical discipline at a smaller residential scale: tidy racking, protected cable routes and a house DB ready for PV.
Why categorise it under Solar
This sits in our Solar project category because the primary deliverable is rooftop PV for a residential Semi-D. The electrical side — isolation, earthing, DB readiness and documentation — is what makes the arrays safe and serviceable. See our solar installation service and the project insight for how that work is framed.
