Frequently asked questions

Can a ceiling fan be mounted on a false ceiling?

The fan must be fixed to the structural slab, beam or a proper support above the false ceiling, not to the board itself. We install a suitable bracket or hook so the load is carried by the structure.

Why does my new ceiling fan wobble?

Most wobble comes from loose fixing screws, unbalanced blades or a bent drop rod. We tighten, rebalance and replace parts where needed.

Do I need a separate circuit for a ceiling fan?

Normally a fan can share a lighting circuit, as it draws very little current. We check the circuit rating, and give large fans or many fans their own circuit.

Can you install my smart or DC ceiling fan?

Yes. Many smart and DC fans need a permanent live and neutral at the point. We check the wiring first and tell you what is possible before installation day.

How many fans can you install in a day?

For a standard home with accessible ceiling points, a team can often fit several fans in a day. Complex ceilings, new points or high ceilings take longer.
